薩克斯風大師John Ruocco、美國最佳當代爵士長號手Alan Ferber、紐約閃亮小號新星David Smith、知名爵士小提琴手謝啟彬，以及海角七號主題曲口琴手藤井俊充等特別跨刀演出，歐洲王牌貝斯Bart De Nolf與超技鼓手Mimi Verderame，協同台灣優秀樂手林后進、林文昱同場較勁，並由啟彬與凱雅爵士團隊精心打造製作，張凱雅精彩絕倫編曲，頂級錄音室現場Live錄音，並特地飛往歐洲交由知名錄音師Pino Guarraci混音後製，國際級的製作陣容，這樣的好音樂，不容您再度錯過！
Jazz Pianist Kai-ya Chang is releasing her new album "Jazz Promenade 2". Continuing the successful topic of re-arranging the classical music into jazz idiom, this time more folksongs and pop tunes were adapted to different jazz settings, by adding fluent improvisations & tight interactions, all the 10 tracks has become brand new aural excitement!
Along with the sensitive touch of Kai-ya on piano and pen, this time she invites more friends and masters joining the project: Veteran American saxophonist & clarinetist John Ruocco, One of the best jazz trombonists today Alan Ferber, and New York jazz trumpetist David Smith formed a solid horn section to play Kai-ya's arrangements, 3 of them all contributed fabulous solos as well. The front line also include Taiwanese jazz violinist Chi-pin Hsieh and Japanese harmonica player Toshi Fujii (who played the theme for the famous Taiwanese movie "Cape No.7"), some lovely childhood memories were chosen and interpreted. Musicians who Kai-ya invited for the rhythm section are all old friends from Europe and young sensation from Taiwan, include bassist Bart De Nolf from Belgium, drummer Mimi Verderame from Italy, and bassist Hou-chin Lin & drummer Wen-yu Lin, Toshi Fujii also played drums on some tracks, all the musicians joined this joyful recording date and had so much fun!
"Jazz Promenade 2" was produced by the best jazz team in Taiwan - Chipin & Kaiya's Jazz, recorded at Platinum Studio in Taipei in the end of July 2011, then Chipin & Kaiya brought it to Genk, Belgium in November to work with the great engineer - Pino Guarraci at Studio Crescendo for mixing, and later mastered at Foon Mastering Center in Belgium, such international level of production isn't too common in Taiwan, and deserves to be enjoyed by more audience around the world!
