It's really sad that I heard from one of my Jazz friends/students in Macau - who was also students of John Ruocco - 林澤誠（Chakseng Lam） that our beloved teacher/mentor/friend, and one of the greatest musicians/educators in the world - John Ruocco, has left us, Rest In Peace
John, Thank you for everything, we miss you, so much to say, we know you for over 30 years, but I am wordless now
and because in recent years you didn't go to Brussels, Belgium and stayed in the Netherlands, I can only heard this from students and colleagues who have more connections at the Hague (Den Haag), so the Belgian friends, students in Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan were shocked...
My son still sleeps with the puppy doll you sent him as gift when he was very young, he called it Ruocco-Go, which sounds like Ruocco-Dog in Chinese, this will always reminds us of you, he enters college now~
So coincidentally I was re-listening this this morning…

媽媽跟妹妹當時還來比利時荷蘭德國/再一同回台灣啊
雖然他是啟彬的主修老師
後來10幾年在台灣辦爵士演出/教育活動&專輯錄音
🥰我們也都相處的超好～
跟我們的家人孩子也是啊
所以昨天-知道了消息😢～
心中感受，真是特別～～
昨晚有睡/像是沒睡～～
😯就早早過來～活動起來
讓自己有精神😅
