如果站在從美洲發展出來的即興與律動音樂型態,也就是以“爵士”和絃記錄為底盤的狀況下,和絃根音或該調主音就是「1」,然後其他音以音程距離如3、b3、b5、b7、b13、#9等來因應,是最適切的選擇,不然老是在討論簡譜五線譜固定首調之類的,會陷在泥淖之中,前進不了,換言之,根本無法繼續往下學習,只能一直在那邊辯論打轉
